We assessed the clarity, structure, fluency, presentation and impact of National Car Rental’s sales bids, and recommended ways to make their pitches more effective and engaging.
The training solution: a one-day course focused on executive summary writing
The course was designed as an interactive workshop, not a lecture. The delegates were introduced to a range of skills that professional copywriters use to engage the reader. They then put those skills to the test in practical writing exercises. It was challenging, but effective. The key elements covered in the course included structuring, turning facts into benefits, corporate messaging, and grammar. This approach gave delegates a full ‘tool kit’ of techniques for writing executive summaries for any situation.
Client feedback
Delegates were asked to give a score out of five on a list of feedback questions such as ‘Quality of the training content’, ‘Quality of the trainer’ and ‘I have learnt new techniques that will enhance my writing’. The average score was 4.5 out of 5.
