Millipore’s marketing team consists of members from around Europe – many of whom are non-native English speakers.
Due to the unique challenges that non-native writers can face, Millipore needed a training solution with the flexibility to accommodate the team’s specific needs. Marketing Communications Manager, Bruno Wandji, wanted a course that could help five of his team produce more effective marketing material, written in better English.
The training solution: A tailored one-day marketing writing course delivered to delegates in Strasbourg
Writing Machine Academy delivered a tailored Structured Marketing Writing course to members of Millipore’s European marketing communications team in Strasbourg. Attendees were from France, Belgium, Sweden and Italy, so Writing Machine Academy’s experience in delivering courses to non-native English delegates proved to be a real advantage. The course taught delegates to consider their messaging and structure from the outset, and to produce clear and engaging copy.
Client feedback
Delegates were asked to give a score out of five on a list of feedback questions such as ‘Quality of the training content’, ‘Quality of the trainer’ and ‘I have learned new techniques that will enhance my writing’. The average score was 4 out of 5.
