Teaching Cegedim Rx delagates process, structure and persuasive writing techniques
Quick facts
Cegedim Rx is the leading supplier of computer software solutions and services to more than 50% of the UK pharmacy market. It offers two main PMR systems – Nexphase and Pharmacy Manager – and is at the forefront of the national electronic prescription programmes supporting pharmacies in England, Scotland and Wales.
Courses
Business cases were becoming an increasingly important way of working at Cegedim Rx.
A lot of the delegates had specific cases to put together in the coming year, but did not have much experience or confidence in writing them. Sometimes people would want to bring about a change in the business, but would drop the idea when they were told they had to present a business case.
The training solution: A course to teach process, structure and persuasive writing techniques
Writing Machine Academy delivered the Structured Sales Writing course, covering a wide range of topics and techniques to improve delegates’ confidence. These included a 7-stage process for developing a case, structuring a case, linking the argument to business objectives, persuasive writing, presenting non-financial benefits, and engaging stakeholders. The course was very interactive with exercises and plenty of questions throughout the day.
Client feedback
Delegates were asked to give a score out of five on a list of feedback questions such as ‘Quality of the training content’, ‘Quality of the trainer’ and ‘I have learnt new techniques that will enhance my business cases’. The average score was 4.5 out of 5.
“I have learnt new techniques that will enhance my business cases and now have a much better view of how to go about things.”
